BFVZ LLC ("BFVZ," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website bfvztech.com and develops BFVZPowerGantt and BFVZPowerHealth, custom visuals for Microsoft Power BI. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, the legal bases on which we rely, and the rights available to you regarding that information.

Information We Collect

BFVZPowerGantt & BFVZPowerHealth (Power BI Custom Visuals)

Both visuals operate entirely within the Microsoft Power BI environment:

• Read data exclusively from the Power BI data model provided by the report author.
• Do NOT transmit, store, or send any user data to external servers.
• Do not collect telemetry, usage analytics, or tracking data.
• Do not initiate any external network calls. All rendering and computation occur locally within the Power BI runtime.
• Manage licensing exclusively through Microsoft's built-in Power BI Licensing API (IVisualHost.licenseManager), operating entirely within Power BI and Microsoft's infrastructure.
• Contain no WebAccess privileges — no external URLs are accessed by the visual code.

Your project data remains within Power BI at all times. BFVZ has no access to it.

We use two analytics services on our website:

• Umami Cloud (cookieless): Collects anonymized pageview and event data — pages visited, referrer, browser type, device type, and country. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, and loads automatically without requiring consent. Data is processed by Umami under their privacy policy.
• Google Analytics (cookie-based): When you consent to analytics cookies, we additionally collect standard analytics data including pages visited, time on page, traffic source, screen resolution, approximate location, and anonymized IP address.

We do not collect personal information through the website unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., by contacting us via email).

Cookies and Consent Mechanism

Third-Party Services

• Microsoft Power BI: BFVZPowerGantt and BFVZPowerHealth operate within the Power BI platform. Your use of Power BI is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics on bfvztech.com to collect anonymized usage data, loaded only after you provide consent. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Umami Cloud: We use Umami Cloud for cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, and does not track users across sites. See Umami's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any other third-party tracking, advertising, or data collection services beyond those listed above. All fonts are self-hosted; no data is shared with external font providers.

Microsoft AppSource & Certification

BFVZPowerGantt and BFVZPowerHealth are available on Microsoft AppSource. BFVZ is an enrolled participant in the Microsoft ISV Success program and a verified member of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.

Our visuals declare no WebAccess privileges and make zero external network calls. Licensing is managed exclusively through the Power BI Licensing API. Your use of Power BI is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Service providers: With trusted service providers who assist in operating our website or business, subject to confidentiality obligations (currently Google Analytics and Umami Cloud).
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
